USA Today Article Layout

I chose to do this USA Today Sports article because it was a simple layout that I could add my creativity to add my own stories to this article. We did this project on Illustrator and this was by far the hardest project we have had in here. I now know that i have a lot more work to do. I made up a story about a young high school kid named Michael Logsdon who is supposed to be the best Quarterback in the nation because i thought it would be something fun to work with and it was. I also made a side link about President Obama because it would get a readers attention like the real side ads do on a normal website. The layout of the original article and my article are very similar. The hardest part of this project was getting the heading the same way the USA Today articles was because I couldn't add my own little "pizas" to it, so copying an idea is a lot harder than making your own.

  1. You included plenty of info, but you should consider laying out your design on a grid. As it is, some elements are out of place. Take a look at your button at the top.

Nice organization of all the info.
